Climate Solvers

Exploring Solutions to Reverse Global Warming

Climate Solvers is a solutions-journalism curriculum. Students learn to evaluate climate solutions, research about people and organizations that are implementing these solutions, conduct interviews, and craft a new article. People are inspired by people.  The results are then shared with the school community in a variety of forms – newsletters, forums, video.  In the process, students learn to evaluate scientifically sound solutions, and write inspiring stories about people doing something positive. Since there are many Climate Solutions (as analyzed by Project Drawdown) there are endless potential articles to explore, write, and present.

Climate Solvers continues to be piloted in School Year 2022-23 at several schools in California.
